Scotch-Brite™ Durable Flex Belt For Weld Finishing

This application features the new Scotch-Brite Durable Flex belt as well. Featuring an aggressive and long lasting non-woven belt used to deburr, finish, blend, and clean. The reinforced low-stretch backing offers good flexibility and great edge durability. Excellent for portable belt tools. In this 2 step demonstration, a Platen arm is used to level a weld on a stainless steel part. In the first step a 3M 777F 120 grit coated abrasive belt is used to level the weld, followed by the new Scotch-Brite Durable Flex A medium belt to refine the scratch and provide the final finish. Scotch-Brite and 3M are trademarks of 3M.
