Concerning the Toyota recall and shameful Congressional investigations, it could be classified as fraud, if not mass hysteria to generate business for Toyota's competition. In this case for General Motors and Chrysler, both stolen by the Obama regime.

Recently a report in The Wall Street Journal exposed this fraud. The government (U.S. Department of Transportation -- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHTSA) investigated the data recorders boxes on many of the crashed Toyotas. It was discovered the drivers instead of hitting the break pedal to stop, hit the gas pedal thus causing the vehicles to speed up and crash. Basically the problem was stupid drivers, not the Toyota's.

Chrysler and General Motors are basically owned by the U.S. government which is currently controlled by the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party and the Obama administrating beholding to the unions. The United Auto Workers union has Toyota in their cross-hairs because Toyota factories in the United States are not unionized.

Wall Street Journal article:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703834604575364871534435744.html

This contributes to two reasons the Democrats in Congress are exploiting the Toyota recall. Toyota is a Government Motors competitor, and to please the United Auto Workers union. This is nothing but exploitation by the Democrats and the UAW.

Toyota produces reliable automobiles and Japan and Toyota are owed an apology for this shameful attack upon their honor by the Obama Administration and the Democratic Party.

  • @tenacioustaut correct. ford knew about the tire problem. they sat down and figured it was cheaper to keep producing and pay out a few lawsuits than to stop and fix the problem. SN firestone and ford are related due to a marriage between 2 members of the families back in the day.

  • I'm sorry folks, but who's really buying this? Toyota f***ed up on this one. Big deal. At least most of their cars are still decent. On the other hand, it'll be a sad day when China gets to sell their junk here........

  • @tenacioustaut Yea, look at the Ford Pinto and the 90's Crown Victorias, both had habits of catching on fire in rear end collisions. Then we have the Fusion which had sudden acceleration issues.

  • Tony, buddy, i like your vids, but if you're going 60mph on a texas highway, you've probably got half the state cursing at you to get out of the way!

...at least stay in the right lane.

    ok, thanks folks.

    :)

  • @tenacioustaut and what did ford want?....educate me.....ford did [NOT] make the tire's..ford could have maybe suggested something to firestone....if you are talking about a certain tire like the [x t.c] ..if that was for ford only ...then how can firestone sell to the public...i assume you are a toyota worshiper

  • @390merc65

    LOL

Firestore gave what Ford wanted LOL

    Keep on being brainwashed LOL

  • @tenacioustaut there was a recall....done by firestone ...NOT FORD..

  • @390merc65

really ok keep on being brainwashed lol

Bridgestone gave what Ford wanted and Ford hid the fact that the design could kIII people but did not recall the tire. As a result, so many people died

  • @tenacioustaut ,,ford never designed tires for its vehicles..and i seem to remember a strike going on at firestone as this happened and firestone made some crappy tires ...there was blood between ford and firestone years ago ..that is why for how many years you wood see alot of firestone's on fords

  • Well okay, Toyota cars, specifically Prius hybrid car, might have defection very rarely, but I still find it safer than Ford's car.

I remember my mother driving the Ford's car and the Steering Wheel all of the sudden became hard to turn. Steering Wheels are actually accompanied with assistance systems that make the Steering Wheel easier to use. That system broke and my mother had to stop the car.

    The engines stopped often too...

Changed to Honda and life got better.
