Religion has resulted in wars and made some hypocritical yes but it's more of a quest for a reason of life and i like that you day that people are confused and don't know what to latch onto they are kinda like bugs and a zapper they see the light but don't know if it is real or not

@remp8110 i have to disagree on what your friend said. he said "religion was based off morality and if your saying god is dead then your saying morality is dead" the reason why is because you don't have to believe in god to have morals. like Buddhism.no god but has morals or atheist like me. i can't say this is good and this is bad period but i can have and sustain morals based on laws or just really thinking about it and setting a standard. good and evil are malleable concepts.

Science is not the only way to know truth. there are whole kinds of other truths that cannot be proven scientifically under the test tube (like the existence of good and evil in the world). What this kid is doing is mere SCIENTISM and scientism is not science.

The notion "God does not exist" in fact has burden proof considering the full scope of evidences both scientific and others pointing to God's existence, He simply does give any challenges at all and he is absolute oxymoron
