This song became very popular as a song in the fight against Apartheid in South Africa. We believe that the meaning of Ke Arona is "Power to the people". We understand that it was sung at a meeting of the African National Congress during the anti-apartheid struggle.

Performed by Jonah & the Wailers during the "End the Year on a High Note" concert on 12 December 2010 at Mosman Art Gallery, Sydney, Australia. The concert was produced by Lawrence Davies and Ian Laurence as part of the Acoustic Soiree series.
