tool assisted speedrun of Kid Chameleon

This tas of Kid Chameleon is my current project, so again I can't promise, if it will ever be finished.

It uses the hardly known 100k point warp, that teleports Kid Chameleon to the level after the boomerang bosses.
Credits goes to Nifboy, Truncated and Josh the FunkDOC, who discovered all the tricks, routes and made a lot of very helpful runs. My run solely reproduces their stuff.

Wenn du maximal Punkte sammelst (speed bonus, no hit bonus, etc) hast du am Ende von Highwater Pass 1 immer knapp über 60 000 Punkte. Nimm dir den cyclone helm im Elsewhere um damit die 40 000 in Underskull Mountain 1 -> 100 k point warp. Das schließt mit ein, dass du in den ersten 3 Level nicht getroffen werden darfst.

Is that route on the final level correct? Is it faster to do it that way than it is to do it via breaking down to the fly helmet, then climbing back up and using the secret?

The only way to leave the level "caves of ice", is to reach the flag. The teleporter just sends me to an elsewhere, which in the end brings me back to "caves of ice" again. But maybe I misunderstood your question.

But Bloody Swamp is not a level in the short route, that I will take. However, TheRandomPieIV from tasvideos, who will make the long run will likely pass it. Yet, we are both currently very busy, so I doubt there will be any progress the next weeks.

@Karlslasher80 Wouldn't surprise me. Sega was notorious for copyright infringement back in the 90s. Look at Shinobi. He battled Sipder-Man Batman and Godzilla in one game.

I heard Kid Chameleon was a pun on Karma Chameleon since a Genesis game was released a few years after a 1980s chart topper song.

I'm surprised no chiptune from Kid Chameleon was a knockoff of the 1980s song.
