The University of Cincinnatis College-Conservatory of Musics lighting technology class allows students the opportunity to research and practice programming on multiple desks from the obsession II to the GrandMA. Starting with the most basic desks and a simple mover rig (11 fixtures), the course progresses towards the more advanced consoles and larger rigs of 42+ fixtures. This course allows for the practice and training in the lighting-programming field by providing different genres and styles of music to students and asking them to place the music to light.

  • Lamp Failure =(

  • Fantastic show! Loved the use of white especially at 1:19

Did you guys rent any of these or are they all part of the ccm inventory?

    Also is this timecoded?

  • @bboybob23

    The Mac 300s

    Mac 250 Entours

and the Mac 2ks were all rented

    everything else is ours

    And yes to timecode

  • Realy nice Song...

Firstly. For a good lightshow, there is not enough sync cues. It´s all shaking around and looks nice, but there is nothing catching your eyes.

Secoundly. A straight line in your colors, but to much white. In this Song, there are great african rhythms. Africa is a great colorful continent. That looks boring.

Thirdly. Nothing like gobos, iris effects... I created big shows in germany and that is one of the most boring shows I ever seen. And you study professionell lightning?!

  • I'm sorry, who are you? You don't happen to have a website with your portfolio and resume do you? I'd love to look at it.

Also, thank you for your constructive criticism. Although, your unoriginal and snide remarks are not appreciated. Just be aware that it shows your lack of professionalism.

  • @andrewwellons

I think that was motorheads LD

  • @andrewwellons

Sorry I'm not that familiar with hog systems, is the timecode and playback built into the desk or is it run via midi from a program like sfx or qlab as with etc boards?
