Beth never regained health and grew stronger neither.She died of scarlet and didn't recover.It is wrong.Maybe they wanted a better ending but this is a lie.

That's a shame, they seemed to have finished only half the original story for this anime in a hurry, and also changed too many story elements (Amy got scarlet fever instead of Beth after nearly drowning, and Beth died much later from something else I think). Still pretty good and well animated, but I wouldn't watch it again... -.-

@CleverLittleBunny Give me a break I read the thing like 7 years ago, so I dont remember most the stuff, Plus the school made mesread this, and back then I hated reading (now however, I like it.)

No offense, but I think you didn't read the book. Laurie likes Jo very much that he proposed to her. But Jo rejected him. In the book 2 (Good Wives), Laurie and Amy ended up together. :)

Nope, nothing more. All the anime versions cover only the book Little Women, not Good Wives.
