This 1969 classic by The Flock is off The Flock's first Columbia album titled "The Flock" and is available on a double "B.G.O. ("Beat Goes On" label)...CD titled "FLOCK/DINOSAUR SWAMPS" available at Amazon.com. Flock's 1969 Columbia, "self titled", debut album is first disc in that double CD package.

"FLOCK/DINOSAUR SWAMPS" belongs in any serious 60's Rock Music Collection!!

  • 1969 I saw these guys Live in Cedar Rapids, Ia. at Coe College and they opened for Deep Purple. At first I heard the begining of this song and thought great, now bring out Deep Purple... by the time they were half way through this song and they opened the curtains to the rest of the band I was BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will always love them.

  • I think this is hidden jewel and I have heard many but this band is by far the best of the old rock bands of their own kind , no one matches the music they have so many different ideas about music, blues, folk, Prog, jazz, zycadelic, most beautiful .

  • I remember seeing this Band in the 60's @ the Green Gorilla / VFW Hall on friday nights in the N/W Burbs of Chicago.....what great music and what a great area to grow up in! And if you ever had this LP .....thats a record the liner notes were written by John Mayall sitting at a table in LA at the Wiskey a go go telling every on about the Flock, there sound and talent was so far ahead of eveybody ! Peace !
