We must support our faith and those of fellow followers. The elite and their political, religious, and commercial puppets are hard working at minimizing Christ and The Bible. The hatred and insults I receive when I mention God or His Word is evidence of the battle between the spiritual and physical. We must remember it's Him they despise. Let them have their NWO and watered-down Jesus Christ Superstar. Critics of the Bible will never grasp truth until they search in humility.

From a non-believers perspective, how could you expect anything other than a strictly scientific approach to Christianity? I guess that is the point, correct? I am so thankful for finding the Orthodox Church, the true faith, and being freed from this underlying urge to have to prove my faith scientifically to others. The fact that I can once again accept my faith as containing unexplainable mystery, makes it faith again.

I submit that you don't know the first thing about what real scholarship is, or who is a legitimate scholar. But then you don't need to - the Orthodox Church has no need of scholarly proof for anything that they teach, and it is a god thing too . . . there is no proof.

And none of it dating before the 3rd century. The only archaeological finding that confirms anything from the NT is an inscription found in Caesaria Maritima that has then name Pontius Pilatos. It is the only evidence found so far that is recognised by the scholarly world.

@elsbymike When Christians prosecute the Crusades or the Inquisition, atheists point to the brutality "inherent" to Christianity. When atheists prosecute the Reign of Terror or the Holodomor or the Cultural Revolution or the Great Leap Forward or the Killing Fields (pogroms that exceed killing by Christians by orders of magnitude), atheists assert that atheism isn't really a belief system.

The french revolution is atheist? You are joking! Well if you declare Stalin killing people because of atheist you have miised the point. Hitler is then killing people because of Roman Catholic again. These are political systems when you have stopped "thinking for yourself". I expect you are going to call North Korea atheist next. They have substituted a god with a person. Atheist have never been given a chance with all the religious killings throughout history.Dark Ages 5th to 15 century.
