Transmited on ETV in July o4, 2010 at 2:30 pm local time, program name እሁድ መዝናኛ (Ehud mezingna) features a person named Zewdie though forgot his last name, who claims he is 128 years old man. His age is calculated based on his oral history. In his interview with ETV's Journalist he said he was seven years old when King Menelik sweared in as king of kings of Ethiopia in 1889 (for reference you can check wikipedia encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menelik_II_of_Ethiopia). He also said he was one of the 90 bodyguards of King Menelik.

If it is proven to be 128 years old, not only he will be the oldest person alive in the world, he could also be the oldest person in history. According to wikipedia, currently the oldest person alive is Eugénie Blanchard, 114 years old, from France while the oldest person in history was Jeanne Calment, dead at 122 years and also from France.

When seen on TV I think he can live for another 3-5 years because his appearance is not terrible and he can walk, also when he talks it is clear for any one to understand but unfortunately he was blind since he was 98 years old.

  • @spiritwarrior1 Am thinking about this... Back in the Bible times there was not a lot of people as there is now. Less satan has to do with our short lifes. Allah did make things to last. Also, made some Palms hardler than people think.

  • @spiritwarrior1 ROFL

  • @spiritwarrior1 yes but ignoring fiction this guy could be the oldest

  • Your incorrect ethiocoastline. Fact is, the oldest person to have ever lived was Methuselah. All his days were nine hundred and sixty nine, that's (969), and he died. Written in the text of the scriptures, The Holy Bible, Genesis 5:27. He was 782 and was still fathering children. Noah was about 600 years old when he built the ark, and he still lived another 350 years after the flood before he finally died at 950 years old, Genesis 9:28,29. God made things to last. Shalom~

  • @MICHAELMEMISBACL no your eyes tricked you it does say 1889

  • Your writing says that he was seven in 1989; do you mean 1889?
