Waveguide Termination

This is a video demonstrating the process to terminate a flange onto a waveguide.

Its only one way to perform the procedure, and demonstrates that you dont need any of the fancy (expensive) tools or accessories that you can buy to make it easier/faster/etc, unless thats what you want. :-)

The waveguide is RFS Flexwell, and the flange is also RFS.

proper method is to flange using a flanging tool. Snipping increases the possibility of air leaks and will result in a poorer return loss figure

@rigtower Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately we didnt have a flanging tool for this job, so its just a demonstration of how it can be done without one. :-)
