  • What a legacy George, Glen, and Roger have left. It's still hard to believe they are all gone. The 1st image of the hero list is from a Gaither video shows George, Glen, JD, Jake and Rex. So many of the patriarchs of Southern Gospel are gone now. Watching Bill Gaither's older videos shows a legend that has gone home in almost every scene.

  • It's still hard to believe Roger is now a Hero of the Faith as well.............I could watch this a thousand times.

  • Think about all the gospel legends that have already gone on, but also think about all the beautiful music that they are making in heaven each and every day..Man!!!! amazing.

  • @jameskifire I don't know about that, but this is the Tony Greene who was the brother of Kim Hopper and sang with his wife Taranda in the group "The Greenes". He sadly passed away a few months ago.

  • Glen Payne, George Younce, Roger Bennett, Rusty Goodman, Sam Goodman, Howard Goodman, Vestal Goodman, Brock Speer, Dad and Mom Speer, Jake Hess, Jim "Big Chief" Wetherington, Hovie Lister, Doy Ott, Rosie Rosell, Denver Crumpler, Rex Nelon, Jim Hamill, Eldridge Fox, J. D. Sumner, James Blackwood, RW Blackwood, Bill Liles, Kenny Hinson & now in recent years Anthony Burger, Danny Gaither & Tony Greene. So many of the legends who made Southern Gospel music so memorable. Thank God for their legacy!
