@ashabear77 I think that's what they were aiming for. I think they were trying to make it seem like they were talking to a reporter/judge/lawyer or something.

@ravinbubba thank you for being the only one who understands what the piece is going for.

@srsocfn Yeah, I guess you could look at it that way.

LOVE that the "Squish" girl is still in the cast in 2011 playing the same part :D and still hilarious.

@ashabear77 really? i enjoy the way these actresses portray the characters. these women have different personalites within each other. if all of them have that attitude like in the movie, then they are all the same. thers my 2-cents, lol.

@TheArlene707 well...I don't think so...you see, in Roxie's audience everything is very odd and strange, also funny. I did this show in Mexico, and it doesn't change anything in the story, because it is only the introduction to the jail... If they do this funny, it is like of you take off the show the song "Me & my baby" and you just expose the argument she is pregnant... there's no real change...

Are they trying to make this a comedy.? If so, way to ruin the story.
I think the women seem very forced when they tell there stories. Theres no attitude

I like how they make it funny unlike in the movie where they sound very serious about the murders
