Joined Chicago Anons for their monthly prot during a visit to the WINdy City.

The Scientologists claimed to be holding a religious service, on which grounds protesters were apparently barred from being within 150 feet of the org.
One brave Anon was prepared to risk arrest to challenge this ban -- the org claimed to be holding a service during the several hours that we were there. Predictably, a cop arrived, who called a supervisor after speaking with both sides. Both police were reasonable about our right to protest and agreed the "religious service" claim could not be applied for an arbitrarily long time.

Apparently these decisions were reversed by other officers who arrived later (see thread for details).

UPDATE:
The flap over the 150 ft rule has swept into high gear, with the same protester receiving a citation and attending a January hearing.

Every post paid envelope you can find from scientology & Dianetics. Fill it with a print out of Xenu Leaflet. Than tape it to a brick and send it back as a response. Best way to protest. Tell all your friend to do this. The church of scientology will have a huge mail bill and each letter opened will free one of their members. Once you red Xenu leaflet they kick you out automatically. Tell as many people as you can. Power of the many. A million people send bricks back that should do something.
