Many believe that with the election of President Barack Obama, America has entered into a "post racial" era, yet events keep happening that indicate racism is alive and well. The latest - Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell's issuance of a proclamation declaring April "Confederate History Month", without including slavery as part of that history. The Governor has since issued an apology and revised the proclamation, but was this an exercise in revisionist history? We'll talk about it on the next Another View, with Regina Malveaux, CEO of the YWCA-South Hampton Roads, whose mission is to "eliminate racism and empower women", and Cassandra Newby-Alexander, History Professor at Norfolk State University.
