Grissom was committed to his work; that's an understandable and respectable decision. With my definition of real love, she could have at least stayed, it's not like he was expecting her to return to the CSI team.

Wow, haven't been watching CSI for over a year, but the whole concept of another goodbye just sucks, that's not real love!

I agree. I fwanted to cry, watching Sara's goodbye video. These words: "I thought we could survive anything", and "I have been waiting for you to decide". But the most awful: "I think it's better this way." No!!!

Sara just couldn't stay, she was too much wounded by all bad things that happened to her. I know for sure she would have stayed if she could. She loves him too much. But he changed his decision and went (happily) after her.

Didnt she get captured by a cerial killer and was put in the desert? o.o is that why she left? the... doll house killer or sumthing o.o

Yes, Sara was captured by a serial killer and left behind in the desert. This was one of the reasons why she finally left. She also had to fight her demons from the past. But the straw that broke the camel's back was the fact that she and Grissom were separated in work. They were no longer allowed to work together. Sara went to the dayshift, and he stayed in the night shift.

You missed a lot then. This second goodbye made me feel terrible. But I think it's just real love. She didn't want to force him to make a decision that might have made him unhappy.
