Mario Kart Wii - Jul 11 08 B

These races have a bad combination for me--up at the front are some expert people, so expert they only use Daisy and Funky Kong on inward-drifting bikes, yet only a few have very high VRs. They drive without making mistakes and can effortlessly block anything. Further down, unfortunately, is an aggressive player or two just licking their lips at an opportunity for someone with a star ranking to fall down to deal out a pummeling to someone who can potentially lose a lot of points. Boy, how this gme frustrates me. But I keep on playing...

Race #2
SNES Mario Circuit 3
Boy, did I get hit a lot here. This kart's better-than-average turning abilities leads me to believe the Flame Flyer is better suited for Manual drifting, and the slow acceleration leads me to believe it's better for Time Trials. Each time I get hit, I have a very hard time recovering, as I miss Item Boxes that might give me a chance of getting back up.

Maple Treeway
By the way, that was "Mac" who bumped me off the bridge on the first lap with a Star. I didn't catch what happened until I viewed this video frame by frame. I don't think I've ever had a harder time catching up than against these guys.

Race #4
GBA Shy Guy Beach
It felt like as if all of the other racers were building up stuff to strike me with. This is one of the most thoroughly anti-kart courses, so I'd have a rough enough time over here. It's weird that so many Lightning Bolts would occur within one race.

Do experts also use Baby Daisy on the Bullet Bike? Because I know they use Adult Daisy on the Mach Bike and Funky Kong on the Flame Runner.

@deathboy126 That combination is sometimes used, but not nearly as often. Lightweights have high acceleration, but it's largely a non-factor as everyone seems to use items purely defensively so there's little to no reason to get back up from top speed.
