The Short story:

Revolution Riot is a rock'n'roll/hardrock/punk/sleaze band from Sweden! Two albums has been released so far:

1. Out of the gutter, into the light
2. Blues for the spiritually retarded

...And here is the VERY long story:

Hailing from the suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden, REVOLUTION RIOT is a combo, which combines the flare of the '80s with the attack and rawness of the punk-era.

It all started back in late 90s when guitarist/vocalist Glitz and bass player Sleazy Texas decided that they wanted to form a group which played the kind of music they grew up with and loved. The first line-up of the band didn't last long and it wasn't until they were joined by drummer Tom-E that their ideas started to develop in the intended direction.

Their first studio session together, in April 1998, was recording a song for a MOTORHEAD-tribute. They decided to do the song POISON and the result came out quite well. In July of that same year their first demo, IT'S NOT A TREND, IT'S A LIFESTYLE was recorded. Early 1999 saw the addition of one more guitar player, the dreadlocked Skinny, and the band began to perform live on a regular basis. The gigs earned the band a reputation as one of the best live acts around the Stockholm area In September 1999, Sleazy decided to quit and the search for a new bass player began, although Sleazy stayed to do the remaining gigs of '99.

In November a new bass player was found, Eazy. So, in January 2000 the guys once again returned to the studio to record their second demo entitled HELL YEAH!!! This demo was the one that made Feedback Boogie release their first full-length CD, OUT OF THE GUTTER, INTO THE LIGHT, which reared its ugly head at the world in April 2001. 2001 started out well for the band with among other things an appearance on Swedish national TV-show "Baren" Although, shortly after the CD was released, bass player Eazy decided to call it a day and left the band.

Once again in need of a bass player, they found Fisch, who fitted the band like hand in glove. They played their first gig with the new line-up on Nov 30th, at Hard Rock Café, Stockholm, Sweden. With a club filled to the max with crazy people and a band eager to show how a real rock show should be executed, little could go wrong and the gig was a success!! Revolution Riot kept their live-shows tight and were playing live all over Sweden, due to bad distribution of the album they never made it to foreign countrys. In 2003 they started the recording of their following album... it took a while before evereyone was pleased with the mix, performance and choice of songs. But finally!!!

Their second album "Blues For the Spiritually Retarded" was being released September 2005 and got great reviews through out Europe.

In 2006 Skinny declared that he wanted to leave to fully focus on Deathstars. Sad to see him go they once again started the search for a fourth member.

After a long time looking and a few failed atempts the found Johnny, former guitarist of Sister Sin - an excellent axeman for the band.

With the lineup complete once again they started doing gigs and writing new material. The collection of songs that will, in time, turn into their third full-length release is growing and the band is now doing preproduction recordings to send out and scout for a recordlabels - The rock rolls forever on!!
