@CATB0XFILMS Yeah ive seen some of there stuff, i think they will be very useful skills which we will need during filming and stuff. And don't worry about that, compositing and color correction may be basic, but its still very important, and something i think get over looked most fo the time. and yeah i know, thanks. Things are really starting to take off.

Id strongly recommend some sort of video audition, and posting it on the forum of the website, or depending on how near u are to us then we could do something in person. where bouts in the UK are you?

so where are you going to get your FILM camera.

Because if you want to make something that rivals pro movies, then your standard MiniDV cams aren't going to cut it.

Are you going to buy a dolly, a steadicam Pilot, a 20 foot long Jib arm, tons of lenses, and such?

This is most likely going to fail. Youtube is full of amateurs, and a bunch of amateurs put together equals an amateur movie. Simple.

youtube is also full of people who are very skilled and talented. we will be renting all professional equipment, including the correct camera's, lenses, sound and lighting equipment and even a little aerial camcorder. the only factor that lets us down is people with synasisms such as yourself. its not all going to be greenscreening, in fact we are going to avoid that as much as possible. actors will be hired for all other roles. noone said it would be easy, but no great movies are.

The point being someone could spend weeks on certain clips and you end up not using them because you dont think its right for the film.On paper a good idea but in reality a very difficult thing to implement especilly without upsetting people but i wish yyou luck.

hmmm the only problem i see with this idea is that you and your freinds are doing the whole direction of the film - so its look and feel etc.

you could give all the clips you made to ten different people and you would end up with ten different films.

@shadowblackmagic Have you ever heard of indymogul? they tell you how to BUILD a jib, a cable cam, a dolly, and tons of awesome special effects for obscenely cheap!!! you need to check 'em out! they have a youtube channel and a website.

PS. I'm not great at 3d and all thatbut i like compositing and color correction, you know, basic stuff, and I would definitely like to work on this project.

I am indeed intrested in this perposal, I do alot of 3d effects including explosions, fluid effects, fires, that sort of stuff. Check my videos if you want to see some tests I have done. Kinda depends ... if you're shooting it, then you're the DP. Yet there's no proof you have any skill with that. I wouldn't want to waste my time editing something that has 3 9 year olds playing the main parts. What do you have lined up for actors, lighting, make up, location, cast, crew, etc ...

is this still on?, well i live in the United Kingdom and ive done quite a bit of acting, this sounds incredible and i feel as though i CANNOT pass this up, is there anyway of Auditioning for this?
