This is not for volume slab pours. These large rotor/stators have a place. I have seen them pump low slump concrete/grouts that would simply bridge in a s-tube or rock valve pump. They are not for high volume or long distance. They are a smart choice for site mixes where material quality control can be questionable.

notice the "soup" that has to be poured. Not applicable for most jobs that require slup tests and core samples.
