A wonderful piece with oriental percussion. Its difficulty is rather underrated, as it has complex runs for woodwinds. It is, at the very least, medium-hard, covering a large range, requiring high technical skills, emotional expression (especially during the oboe solo), and stamina (the woodwind runs on the last page are killers). Overall, this is an exciting piece that shows mastery and raw emotion, that with greater recognition, would surely put its author among the greats of music.

@captainmuon Haha, I played this a few years ago and our director had a flute play that solo instead because our oboe player was terrible :/ but you gotta admit that's kinda funny haha
