Chrono Trigger using Vsun+ on nokia 6630

A little video showing the rendering of the snes classic chrono trigger on vsun plus using a simple nokia 6630 (220mhz Arm9 processor).

There is no sound cause the emulator disable sound to gain better speed.

Also for the same reason transparency is not used so you will see many glitches on any scene of the game with clouds.

Nope, I didn't played the game on my phone...

Most of the emulator on my phone are just for testing purposes...

I only played pokemon gold almost to the end (on a gbc emulator).

This version is Vsun+ and it's faster because there's no sound.

Vsun has sound but it's slow like hell.

Don't forget this phone like many smartphone have a small 220 mhz arm9 cpu.

For full speed snes emulation you need at least 500 mhz (or a serious code optimisation in the emulator of course ^^).

vSun needs a very High Level Emulation Technique to have a better emulation and also faster emulation.

theres something called a custom firmware.. someone has probably already tweaked this phone.

make a software update using NSU - Nokia Software Updater and you will have a powerful 6630... :D

Emulators on cellphones...damn xD! too bad mine 6630 is broken, it restarts all the time.
