  • Mozart is such a genius...

  • Actually, I believe I read somewhere that this mass was composed in a more baroque style (Terrasse Dynamics) in order to please constanza who apparently loved baroque music.

  • Most wonderful ending with the G - Cm and oboes at the end ... sigh I sang this in choir two years ago ... was tenor 2 for this movement

  • @oddvidios Throughout the beginning, notably stated in strings around 0:00 - 0:16 and repeated under choir

  • @rossyxan where?

  • Sir Colin Davis' tempo of this is my favorite but seeing Bernstein conduct what I feel is one of the all time great chorus' is nothing short of amazing!

  • Chords: Gm - Eb/G - F#dim7 - Dm/F - Em7 - Cm/Eb - D - C#dim7 - D7, note the descending bass

  • @TFreckle That's more than possible. While listening to this part of the mass for the first time, I thought to Bach's crucifixus from the B minor mass ... This song is maybe a tribute from Mozart to the master of baroque music ?

  • Agnus dei... My god, my friend, my way to heaven!!!
