CCP Little Theater

Jose Jasper Clarito Andra of Gen. Trias, Cavite was the first-ever brass soloist featured on CCP's Filipino Artists Series. Performing "all major works for tuba" including this, Fantasy for Tuba written by Malcolm Arnold. Most pieces are premiered in this two-hour solo concert.

  • yeah when i played for my final year of high school, definitely played the allegro section much faster (my teacher told me to)

  • I'm agree with you guys, in allegro section dotted quarters notes is 100 per beat and he's playin' about 70.

  • He is doing it from memory, and does mis-pitch a few notes, and it's possible that he forgot some of it!

  • this must be a different arangement of Fantasy for Tuba because I'm playing this as well and there are many differences, specifically in the Allegro section.
