I thought it was not possible to play this work on the cello so wonderfully. All cellists should hear this boy play. I am stunned! Lynn Harrell

An outstanding rendition. Kim is a very talented young cellist... I will follow his carreer... he'll be big!

Also a cellist, I tremendously enjoy the fluency and gutsiness of Kim's Chaconne. Having worked on it for a couple of months so far (starting from Eugene Eicher's 1970's transcription), I feel more of a lyrical tug from several of the 16th note variations: especially the diminished 7ths and the two after the return to d minor which made such an impression on Brahms (4th Symphony, last movement).

Incredible... truly incredible!
