No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

What are the odds that this is the exact door I am having trouble with? I was quite leery of someone I don't know taking apart my car. You have not only saved me my suspicions but time and money. Thank you, sir.

Thank you so much for these videos. they have saved me a lot of time and money, and my dad a lot of frusturation. . My windows all decided to quit on my 97 sl2 and I am now working on getting them back together. i have watched your other videos for other things, like when my ignition switch burned out. these help a ton! Thank you again.

On the 2003 Saturn Ion door. The outside key hole. The plastic that attaches to the rod on the key cylinder broke. So, I read on other computer sites, this is the way to get to the key cylinder, is to take off the outside panel as you did. Do you know if you have worked on a problem like this. I was going to use J B Weld fast setting metal glue on the plastic. I know J B Weld hold a mirror that was broken to pieces on a Saturn SL outside mirror housing. It is still holding 10 yr. now.

@dulcelake I do think J B Weld is not a good fix for this job i would go to the junk yard and get one for free.

are the mounting ears the plastic piece that the screw hole slides into. because the plastic broke and there is no where for the screw hole to attach itself.

@MrRaiders6769 Yes in your case if there is nothing left to repair replacing the panel seems like the only way out.
