This is what separates TNG from the other Star Trek series. I love how this show explores morality, philosophy and still maintains just as much tension as the more "action packed" series like DS9.

Picard is the best star trek captain by far.....his accent his intelligence and his mature bed side manners, and his never ending talks about the future the past the present and the ability to want to better him self are all the right things. I don't think It would be a compleat star trek series with out Picard. BEST CAPITN EVER!!!!

@mjufpn not even close to picards definition.. you merely desribe one possible form of hate and its origin.
what about fear leading to hate directed at the unkown, deception and aversion... not to mention hating ppl for the mere fact that it brings one pleasure.

@Trekfreek agreed....truthfully i pulled the ignorance part from the the final 20 minutes of Gundam 00, the movie, where they are in the 00 Quanta....I was kinda right, but you are correct.....

Hate is when we cant do anything about something bad, or some bad people. Usually we hate people because we cant defend from them or they do something to us that we cant stop them from doing. Hate is an emotional respons to hoplessbess.
