THE LAST PALAVER a tune I wrote after reading the Dark Tower

For me the Dark Tower series was largely a wonderful story. I feel the entire series was overall a tragic story. This led me to write a tune that captured the tragic feel that was always present in the story.

There are a few video tributes to the series on youtube already, but I felt that while the music in those videos were great songs (hard rock) they did not represent the emotions the books brought out of my mind, and/or heart so effectively.

So I hope you enjoy my musical representation of the emotions I experienced while reading these great books.

I did feel joy and hope while reading the series and I tried to express this in the last part of my song. Let me know if you feel I captured the correct feel. I would thank you big big, and of course say thankee Sai.

I hope for the true fans this is a true Gawwd bomb!

Last I would like to say I mean no disrespect to any of the other Dark Tower songs. I enjoy the lyrics to Demons & Wizards "The Gunslinger", and Handgun Honeybun. I personally just wanted to give my take on a musical representation of the story.

King made the story because it was an idea of his for a long time. None of that has anything to do with the Dark Tower.

A spider guards the tower of the Crimson King (represented by an eye.) On the dolllar bill there is a spider's web surrounding a pyramid (tower) and an eye. In Lord of the Rings, there is a spider (Shelob) guarding the tower and the eye. Notice a pattern? The spider is MAMAN - google image search it. Check the bible for information on the demon MAMMON. The tower is the TOWER OF BABYL, the eye is Lucifer.
