[PROTOTYPE] Gameplay

nothing major is spoiled, just like abilities and enemies.
now for the actual description

"I am the cause for all of this. My name is Alex Mercer. They call me a killer.... a monster... a terrorist... I am all of these things"

Alex Mercer, one of the most bad-ass video game characters I've ever played.

Haven't seen much gameplay up on Youtube so thought I'd just run around and try and show off the game. Some of this may be confusing and if there is any questions you may have then feel free to ask them. This is in free roam after beating the game where it reverts the infection level down and allows for mission free slaughtering.

For people wondering if they should buy/rent the game then I will offer my two cents. I found the game to be simply phenomenol. It could be frustrating at times but that was a good thing because a game needs to have a challenge to be fun. The game has a steady learning curve and once you get used to a certain enemy or abiltiy it will throw another one at you. The game has plenty to colelct and is just very enjoyable. The voice acting was a little iffy at times but for the most part it was some of the greatest voice acting I've heard in any game ever. Alex Mercer does an amazing job of just being straight up bad ass. This is also one of the goriest games I've played... Keep in mind I said "one of". It's fun to just run around in free roam for hours at a time and it won't get old. The game is alos a great way to vent if you are angry and just wanna kill thousands of people in horribly brutal ways!

Keep in mind there is still TONS of things I didn't show obviously. I didn't show the stealth aspect of the game along with some powers and enemies and abilities. There is so much to this game and I hope you enjoy the video.

I imagine I sound like a huge fanboy but I can just appreciate a good game in this game is certainly above average. Good story. Fun to play. what more could you want?

one final thing.
This game continued a fun little joke between devs.
Dead Rising had an achievement called Zombie Genocider which was to kill 53,594 zombies. They got that number because that was the population of the town it took place in. As a joke, Left 4 Dead just one upped them and created an achievement for killing 53,595 infected. Well now Prototype topped them all with an achievement for killing 53,596 infected.

Just think, this game was badass on its release right alongside Infamous, theyve had about 3 years or so to create the second one. Infamous 2 was a giant improvement from the first one, cant wait to see what they do for Prototype 2. And yes i know 2 different developers (i think) sounded like i said only one made both games.

this is an awesome game my cousin has it though on the cpu. there's this site called steam you can by games like fallout,battlefield etc. so i can play it most of the time when i can got to his house......

Hey cheers, i fanboyed over crackdown 2 and this looks just as awesome, no mike mcconnohie director voice but it looks good still.

I at the very least managed to shrug off Bolo Shitvoice-tosi from Just Cause 2 Demo, so i'll probably be able to deal with iffy voice acting.
