    I think that Bette does a great job, but Eve Arden would have been my choice as Liz. I keep hearing Arden's voice and inflections on Liz's lines.

    I love the character, her high living and foibles make her interesting, as well as the interaction with her assistant. It's a shame they settled on the contrived premise of her playing Mary Worth to a different family each week.
