I called WJXT a couple years ago and asked if Deborah Gianolis was still there. She was but in a different capacity. They were so helpful in me getting a copy of the video. They put it on DVD for me and rushed it my way. Very thankful to the station for getting me a piece of history I could show my family.

Hard to believe it has been 20 years since that cruise. That was also my last cruise. Delwin Delgado was one that I will always remember from that ship. A true hero that saved some lives, at the cost of his own.

Remember Haifa liberty boat sinking? Brent Mcreight and delwin delgado were among some of my friends to drown on that. I switched places with someone on import fire party so they could get some time on land. He drowned on the boat that night and it took me years to forgive myself for that.
