This fabulous whitewater leadership course takes place on the remote Allan Water River in the North-western Ontario region known as Wabakimi -- a world class canoeing area that combines the challenge of remote tripping with intricate whitewater.

Wabakimi Provincial Park is an outstanding recreational area in the heart of North-western Ontario. Home of the elusive woodland caribou, it is one of the worlds largest Boreal Forest reserves and wilderness canoeing areas, and boasts fascinating natural and human history.

Under the guidance of some of the best Outward Bound instructors in the world, offering excellent course progression for new and experienced paddlers, you will hone your flat and whitewater canoeing skills.

  • Sweet, did that same trip in 07, loved it

  • What a great video! Too bad we missed you by two days! We took the train out of Armstrong on July 30th, and got off at Redhead Lake. We didn't see anyone else until we were picked up by a float plane a week later. Our train was only 40 minutes late, but it sounds like your train was many hours late according to our outfitter. Thanks for the video!
