Yes, well with the track record of the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta regarding the care of Alberta's forests it is more important than ever I feel that we here in Alberta quickly develop an interest in Alberta's forests. If we do not do this I fear some of the wildlife and some of the species of trees and plants which at the present time. do life in Alberta's forests will not continue to be found in them!

@Albertan1956 you are totally right! I see this pattern in the most forest related posts. People lose the awareness and have no interest (that is of course because the media does not give much for this matter)! It is even visible in the enrollments in higher education institution for forestry. I´m at the UofA and I can tell you - we are not many.
