if he does get checks from selling Anus Laptops, he keeps them as evidence. If he attempts to cash them, it will be bounced and the bank will be suspicious and the victim could get in alot of fucking trouble.

Those checks that he receives are fake. The scammer sends a fake check and expects the receiver to send him expensive goods before the check fails to clear. The scambaiter doesn't make any money out of it, he just wastes the scammer's money.
