This is a retrospective of all the Tales of titles that Americans got while Europeans only got some of them and not all, the only one not shown here that Europe got which America didn't was the Tales of Eternia PSP version.
Some may see similarities between Tales of Phantasia and the earlier Star Ocean games, there is a reason for that which you can find out on the Tri-Ace page on Wikipedia.
This game also has local multiplayer and at some point, I hope to get a video up showcasing how that works. Of course the multiplayer is only for battles but it can be used for some great fun when you have a friend over as 75% of what you tend to do in a JRPG is battling in some way, shape or form.
If you are a Final Fantasy fan be it FF7, 8, 9, etc and have never played another Japanese RPG, you may be interested in trying Tales of Graces f. Likewise, if you have played other JRPGs but have not played any of the Tales series games then now might be a good time to start,
If you are also wanting a more colourful game for whatever reason (such as being sick of the brown/grey realistic games you see a lot of today) then this may also be up your alley.
Either way, I hope people who haven't tried a Tales of game try them, be it Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Vesperia, Tales of the Abyss 3DS or even Tales of Graces f when it releases in March (NA) or Summer (EU)

Nice! I'm from europe and i've only played one Tales of game and thats Vesperia, i loved it, the art style, the gameplay and the storyline, the character develpment in that game was something i've never seen before in a JRPG with the involvment of skits as extra ways to catagorize the characters. I've just bought Tales of the Abyss for the 3DS witch never came to europe back in 2005-2006, from what i've heard it sounds like a great game. If its anything like Vesparia i'll be pleased!! Great vid!
