  • Shows that Mennonites are still able to sing.

  • @AmosPressley AMEN! I fear for the day when people no longer sing from hymnals and in parts.....

  • @AmosPressley Agreed. It's hard to sing in parts when everyone else is singing melody.... I just hope that the church's ability to sing in parts isn't lost.

  • @bswitzer12 Unfortunately, that day is here in many churches. I sometimes attend a church that flashes stuff on the wall, but I use the hymnbook because I want to sing parts, and wish to match what is being played. I have seen times when the techno stuff failed, and people just simply dropped out. Of course, I was able to keep on to God's glory because I was reading and singing from the book!

Technology is not a bad thing, but I fear we have become way too tied to it lately.

  • My heart has been needing to hear this version of the Doxology. I'm so glad I finally found it on youtube. I am Brethren and have mixed feelings about the "Blue Hymnal" but I was so glad they put this in it. I just love singing it. Your congregation sings this very well. I would love it if someone could upload it again with better sound quality.
