Instead of focusing on many New Year's Resolutions and habits. Choose to focus on only one habit a month for 12 months. This will help you build a foundation for discipline and make you feel good about yourself if you still just to one habit.

My habit for February is going to sleep before 12 am so that I can wake up rested.

  • This is exactly what I needed to hear! I (along with many others, I'm sure) feel both internal and external pressure to achieve all their goals right away and somehow fall into these big lifestyle changes automatically. Life is a process. It takes time and effort to achieve the things you want. I'm talking about more than New Year's resolutions here, but still... this is very refreshing to hear as a 23 y.o. recent college grad trying to sort out all the new things I need and want to achieve.

  • Hi Alex! I'm really glad you have your own channel and are making these videos. I'll have to say I became a fan after watching the 'finding purpose' videos, I really enjoyed them.

    Some habits i need to build: WAKE UP EARLY! and sleep earlier, decrease procrastinating, eat more healthy, exercise more, spend more time with family.

  • Great video! My one habit is to drink 2 litres of water every day.
