Have you practiced the Steve Morse way, watched Frank Gambale and been floored by Eric Johnson, but have failed to improve your picking? Come and join me on a picking adventure, laugh in the face of death [hah hah ha], be one with your pick and learn from your crushing technical failures.

  • i invented this scale.....blues scale i think i called it......patented it last year.......i now live on the gold coast in a penthouse

  • Amazing.

I recently I took a patent out on John Putrucci's DNA and will start manufacturing artificial right hands for worthy transplant recipients.

Might see you on the Gold Coast!

  • NO!!!!!!!!!

    It's John Petrucci NOT Putrucci!

    you got the wrong guy!

  • OMG! That cannot be, damn it, I knew it was all to easy. He seemed just happy to have someone to talk to and was seemingly not too fussed by having his right hand removed for urgent scientific experimentation. Knew there would be a catch!

Looks like I shall have to clear out the freezer in the lab! Back to the drawing board.

  • @fransciscoau You need the big beard, ripping arm muscles, to carry that aspect off.

  • I think at this stage in my fitness regime I could manage the big beard!

  • I know that thing about Steve Morse and Frank Gambale!Their technique is simply amazing...Nice video,by the way ;)

  • I ran into a problem years ago with Morse's rt. hand technique in that not only is it held as you say, but he straightens out is index finger when he plays a rapid line (esp arps) and then returns to a more curved position after. Not sure it's all worth it because Jimmy Rosenberg can achieve that speed with a more traditional technique, minus resting the palm or pinky on the bridge. In any case, its hard to continue with it all when you spend years still working the the Holdsworth left hand.

  • Super stuff agin.

  • Sorry, just uploading it now! The whole thing was too long to fit on You Tube as one video. So a quick edit was needed.
