I'm not a curling expert, but can anyone explain to me Martin's reasoning to throw away his first rock through the house? Wasn't Canada already lying one before he sailed that one through the back on purpose? Why waste a shot like that? Like I said I'm not an expert and I don't play, but I'm just confused with the move.
martin reckoned it was too risky to make a move so passed the buck to murdoch to make the big shot, which he did, it was a gamble that didnt pay out. the biggest screw up he made was not to remove the guards earlier in the end therefore giving murdoch places to hide.
I lost respect for martin when he threw his first one through...he was leaving that shot there all day and i dont know how he figured that was the easiest shot he'd be left with
