the wire was there just for security reasons. the car went up the slope by itself. there's a documentary on that. go watch it.

If you guys honestly believe that it can go up a slope that steep with regular season tires, then your a moron. Look at other vids, you'll see how audi switches out the tires with some crazy ones to provide a lot more traction.

Correct, you need winter tires for this. Even then it would be difficult. But it's good marketing isn't it? ;)
