  • @BORNNADI And your point is? I was just making it clear that his mom is Chinese. She is of 100% Chinese blood. They just live in Thailand. So you can call them Thai-Chinese, but that just means they are Chinese people living in Thailand.

  • @Ooilei His mom is Thai Chinese

  • @shongsalomon No, his mom is pure Chinese. She is full Chinese but grew up in Thailand. Mario said so in an interview. His dad is German and his mom is Chinese. He has no Thai blood in him. But he is a Thai citizen so therefore he is a Thai person. Being ethnically Thai and being a Thai citizen are two different things, but both types of people are labeled as Thai.

  • @Ooilei - His mom is Chinese Thai. Not pure Chinese. It's very common to find Chinese Thai blood in Thailand since there were so many Chinese people immigrating into Thailand long ago. My family is Chinese Thai too. So he has Chinese, Thai and German blood in him.

  • i love mario maurer so much !

  • @zh3ll I agree with you.

  • commonly in thailand..lot of roots (of parents/grandparents etc) come from chinese but v called ourselves "Thai"... just wanna let u guys know

  • then how come his mom speaks with perfect thai without a trace of chinese accent - which is typical of those with the chinese origin at the first generation?
