I lost 40 lbs when I switched to this recipe. This recipe is more digestable if you drain off the water after soaking the almonds overnight. This Delicious vegan milk has only raw almonds, pitted dates, ice and water. It will settle a bit overnight but just shake it up in the morning. It is easy to make for cereal for breakfast (the most important meal of the day). If you use less water and ice you can make a wonderful cream that is good on desserts or frozen fruit. This keeps for about 3 days if well refrigerated and is enough for 4 servings. With more dates it can be made into a wonderful shake. This recipe cost about half the price of regular dairy milk and no cholesterol. It provides plenty of calcium and other important nutrients that are not in regular milk. • I have just made this for the first time I got to say I love the taste I'm now hooked on almond milk

  • @37mrpaul :) I'm glad you like it.

  • Thank you for posting the video! I am going to soak the almonds tonight & try this out in the morning.

  • @gared111 Your welcome. :)

  • You should get ride of the water you have been soaking them in as it's full of toxins. Which is dangerous. The reason to soak is to make nuts soft and also remove toxins in the almonds so you should chuck the water. :-)

  • @TheaDragonSpirit If you check the older comments you will see that I have done that since the making of the video. It does make it more digestable. Thank you for updating the subject though.

  • Shouldn't you strain it and can you use any type of nut?

  • yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy

  • @NewEarthWellness - yeah I noticed after, but it was to late. However there is a lot of toxins in raw almond nuts so you have to be careful it might not feel like its damaging but eating a lot of foods don't so I rather not risk it my self. But thats me :-) I do need to get a nut bag though. When I made this it had to many bits in for my liking. ;-)
