Infamy

The pain of the past becomes the reality of the present on the morning of September 12th, 2001 for second-generation Japanese-American George Kojima. Witnessing a government backlash to 9/11 parallels a George's own experiences during the Second World War. He now questions his enduring trust and faith in the United States, the country which he has spent his life fighting to preserve. "Infamy" explores our responses during times of national crisis, and forces us to re-evaluate what it means to protect "freedom and justice for all." Its emotionally evoking tone dives into the truths of countless U.S. individuals and reveals the struggles many families attempt to endure.
