@MickScarborough Where the "common law" is (was) not much more that "common sense" in that it was the customs among the people, adopted by "rulers" via "judicial systems" and further expanded, and expanded, and then corrupted in so many ways, what you speak of would be all the corrupted "add-ons" placed as a carpet over it all - where the foundation is seen as "problematic" and are judged "non grata"
In sum: it is all assumptions and boasts made valid by "peoples belief in it".

This video is misleading. Common law is not recognized and outright rejected in the State of Florida. Each state has its own opinions so this guys blanket statements are dangerous.
