  • A tad bit long winded stef, I'll send this to close and open minded friends, but I'm afraid I'll have to wait for something a little more concise for others.

Overall, it was a good introduction to the stateless society. If you don't feel like making a short version of this video, could you pretty please make a followup to this one explaining the basics and core tenants of the DRO model?

  • already done - search for 'stateless society'...

  • @Frontiermike Cool, I was going to send it out to some people, but good point. Which one of your videos should I send instead?

  • @DCLugi The percentage of eligible individuals who actually vote is already hovering at about 50%, at least in the U.S. Whenever I hear someone mention this statistic it's usually followed by the implication that "well, clearly there are just a lot of lazy people who don't understand the importance of XYZ." Never seem to hear anyone in the MSM say "Hmmm....there seem to be an awful lot of people who don't buy into the efficacy of this system..."

  • @trehansen My computer is running a little slow. Can I have yours? If no, then why not? (I'm guessing the first answer is "no," and that the second answer is something like, "Because it belongs to me. I worked hard to save up for it, and it is myself - not you, nor anyone else - who has the legitimate right to enjoy the fruits of my labors." Your claim to your computer is superior to my claim to your computer, because it is your rightfully and peacefully acquired private property)

  • @nammoo89 Would this minarchist-government you're talking about have the right to fund itself and its services by taking money away from me on a non-voluntary basis? Because if so, we're still dealing with an organization that is characterized by its right to initiate force (in the form of taxation). If not, then what you're talking about isn't a government at all; you're talking about some sort of business that provides defense services to willing customers on a voluntary basis.

  • @kyeot Why do 51% of the people get to tell 100% of the people what to do?

  • @Frontiermike No offense, but I find your reply to be unconvincing, dry, and light on details, and contradictory in the extreme (not good on camera but experienced public speaker?). Sorry, but to the points at hand, this reply fails. Better luck next time.

  • @TreachMarkets Critique is so you can improve. It is not meant as an insult or to harm. If you do improve, you prove yourself, if not... I am doing my part, but I am not good on the camera or with video. However, I am a public speaker and I speak as much as 15 hours a week. I do my part, you do yours. You can take my advice or leave it in the ditch, I really don't care. This is my last comment on this.

  • @Frontiermike Your critique states that people need to hear it, so I expected to see that you had whipped up a 3 minute crackerjack intervention video of your own, otherwise why would you criticize someone else's attempt? If you really believe that people need to hear it, then get it done!

  • @TreachMarkets Well, its not my video, but I hold the opinion that information like this is best stated face to face between people who have earned respect from one another. Otherwise the info just doesn't hold value or carry weight. Most people won't take the time to consider info like this unless it comes from the mouth of someone they trust. Either that, or their needs to be a video made that is about 2-3 minutes and holds it to small points, maybe several small videos.

  • Nice video as usual, Stef.

However I must say about the bit on 9/11, the FBI released a statement several years ago saying that they had no hard evidence linking bin Laden to 9/11.

There are so many lies and preposterous claims about what happened that day, but that's a whole different topic....always a fun one though ;) Typical government coverups
