I like your voice a lot, but I think you do the song a disservice by trying to make it fast and bouncy. You don't have to play it fingerstyle if that's not your thing, but try slowing it down and getting the longing back into it.

The turnaround chord has a different bass movement that you're omitting--it really leaves a whole part of the tune out. This is the Mel Bay version. Reduced to a series of major strummed chords. Again, I'm impressed with this video. That it's up there, and that it's getting so many views. Nice choice.

This is a really unexpected version of this song. I never would have thought it could be interpreted as a chirpy gallop--but nonetheless there it is. It's hard to feel the ache in this tune at the tempo, but you did get all the words right. Impressive.
