It just so happens that the "choppy" style is one of the primary methods of playing this song in many COGIC churches. The same song is played differently in different denominations because they are sung differently. As I am sure you know, master organists adapt their playing to the congregational and pastoral style of the church in which they are playing or employed.

Thanks! I was in F, and I guess I learned by my some of my teachers of course, and listening to some of the more traditional style musicans around St. Louis and in the COGIC
