I Never Thought I'd Catch THIS Lovebug (S2;Ch3)

SO sorry guys! i got on and had like 11 comments! :)
idk how much i'll be able to post, cause i have volleyball and school, which takes up like my whole days.
but i'm trying! thank you for reading still:)

Okay, so, the Joe & Brooke thing was Sunday afternoon.
Nick hasn't talked to Joe since then though, because Joe went to a place where he loves to go to just think, cause he's out of school. Brooke had to go to school though, so Joe still hasn't talked to her since he asked her to be his girlfriend.
The Jamie & Nick thing was Monday, because, obviously Emily was leaving Monday.
So, it's now about, 2 pm on Monday. Ya digg?

Chapter 3:)

Nick and I were laughing as we exited the car and entered the Jonas household.
We stopped in our tracks when we saw Joe just sitting on the couch, no television on or anything.
"Hey buddy." Nick walked up behind Joe and slapped him on the back. "Where ya been?" No response.
"Hey Joe.." I said quietly, and sat down on the couch, Dolly still in my arms.
"Who's dog?" Were the first words out of his mouth.
"Mine." I smiled. "Nick got her for me." Joe reached out a hand to pet the still squirming dog. "We were about to take her and Elvis for a walk, wanna tag along?"
"Nah.. I'll just chill here for now." I looked at Nick as Joe still petted Dolly's back.
"Alrite man, well, call us if you need us. We gotta run and pick up a leash for Dolly first."
"Dolly?" He asked.
"Jamie named her." Nick pointed at me.
"Hey! You let me! and you said you liked Dolly." I retorted.
"I do, I do.. Let's go get a leash."
"We have two for Elvis, you can just use one of those." Joe said.
"Oh yeah, alrite. Where is the big guy?" Nick asked.
"Back yard."
"Thanks; See ya man."
"Bye Joe..." I quietly exited with Nick; it broke my heart to see his big brother that way.

*dogs are leashed, on the walk*

It had been a pretty quiet walk. I guess we were both lost in our thoughts... Finally, I spoke up.
"So, whats up with Joe?" Nick sighed at my question.
"I dont know. We didn't see him at all yesterday... That's why I was surprised when he was on the couch. I think something went down with Brooke, I just don't know what. And I don't want to ask... Plus, after having to get over you..." He stopped, and looked at me, which made the dogs unhappy. I couldn't meet his eyes, and we continued walking. We didn't say much more after that. It wasn't an awkward silence though, and after about five minutes he reached over and took my hand. The dogs were being unusually good, not tangling their leashes or fighting too much. After a couple times around the neighborhood, we left both dogs in the Jonas backyard and returned to my house.
"Do you think my parents will let me keep Dolly?" I asked.
"I called your dad and asked him if I could buy you a dog."
"My dad?" I wrinkled my nose.
"Yeah, that okay?"
"Well, my moms the one who doesnt like animals. But I'm guessing since my dad said yes, then he went through my mom too. Wanna go upstairs?" I said, looking around the empty house.
"Sure..." he said, and once again grabbed my hand as we walked up the stairs.

crappy chapter, but whatever.
for some reason my heart just isn't in this as much anymore,
but i'm trying.
i got some big ideas,
just gotta bring them together.
i promise good is coming soon:)
