@tinfamily As an aside, right now, Baiyoke sky has a really nice summer special that includes the buffet dinner (awesome sunset view), walking outside on the sky deck (also very romantic) and observation tower. It was about $134 USD for 5 adults and 2 kids and seemed a good value. Their Tom Yum Goong is excellent, don't miss it if you go!

@TimeSplittersChimp It's about 1500 baht booking via the internet, but I am pretty sure it's much cheaper if you book locally. Even the little tour agent at the sky train stop (I forgot which one but it's probably nana, asoke, siam or national stadium.. because I used to see it all the time).. Some may let you outside on top. Check to make sure first. They have different type of dinner cruises. Some are open, some are in and out (if I recall) and the one we were on was glassed in with good a/c

Is this expensive, i want to take my Thai GF on this when i come back to BKK in 26 days and would like it to be romantic, can you walk on top of the boat and be out of the dinner area and look out at the river and city ?
