i do not know what do you wanna call it...but it is not acapella... The definition of acapella is singing without instrumental accompaniment... actual live singing... not removing the music from a complete track. That's the difference. Still, what you did allow us to hear her beautiful voice more clearly.

if thats the case why does the artist themselves call them acapellas also when the release an acapella version,it doesnt say live anywhere in the title,and im sure that you have ran across more videos like this that say acapella,than them actually singing live acapella.theres really no reason to get antmore techinical trying to make up something to call this,acapella is what it is,she sung the song,and i removed the music therefor the onlything left is what her singing

i agree with kardasi 100% this actually hurt my ear. i am here searching for famous singers who actually sing with their raw voice, complete naked. this is acapella. i sing acapella and love it! still training to be better, but would love to get some inspiration from some famous artist. the real deal...can you find some of these and post, please? thanks!

But the People arguing are arguing because you can tell its been spliced due to the "airy" sound of the Track, this is caused because someone used an unprofessional bit of software to do this the free way so it left a few frequencies of the backing track

Can you hear her singing? Yes. Can you hear instrumental accompaniment? No.

A Capella = singing without instrumental accompaniment.

Doesn't matter if she sang it live or if they went back and removed the music. It is technically a capella now that they've taken away the instrumental sound and all you hear is the vocals. It's really funny when people go on and on about how this "isn't true a capella" when they obviously have no idea what they're talking about.
